Much Ado About Monday {No. 58}

Welcome, welcome to another phenomenal edition of Much Ado About Monday! We are so happy you are here with us!

This past week has been a veritable mad house at my place, as we re-tiled our front porch and had the lovely wallpaper removed from all our bathrooms. (Look for the remodels later on the blog!) I may have loved Saved By the Bell when I was a kid but to have wallpaper that reminded me of the show {you know, triangles, colorful squiggles and random polka dots...in a word: no} was not really the look I was going for in my house. After two and half years, there was no sorrow in this parting. All of this was taking place as I was gearing up to host a Kentucky Derby themed baby shower for my sweet sister and her first little baby. Crazy? Yep. Fun? Of course!

My gorgeous sister showing off her adorable bump; my other sister and Lorelei; and my mom with the mommy-to-be.

 The shower was a blast and I loved seeing everyone in their amazing hats. {Those large hats made hugging a little challenging but we managed.}We had traditional southern and derby inspired foods and some themed games. Be sure to check back in the next weeks for a complete breakdown of the details. Today is a day of recovery and rest {and cleaning up...boo} then this coming week, I have to get back to finishing up the bathroom remodel. The life of a DIYer is never boring!

In case you missed it, this week we announced an amazing giveaway that we are participating in as part of Endlessly Inspired's one year blogiversary! $550 to Amazon? Yes, please!! If you haven't entered yet, there is still time!
