Happy New Year!
It's hard to believe that Christmas has come and gone... and now it's 2014. And, for me, New Year's Day is extra special, because it's also my birthday! Yep, my parents just missed the tax break when I decided to stay inside an extra week and make my grand appearance on January 1st instead of Christmas Day! :)
I celebrated with lunch at my favorite Café with my guys, followed by ice cream cake later at home. My boys sang "Happy Birthday" to me atleast 10 times and I was showered in hugs and kisses. They also gave me sweet cards, a book I've been wanting to read (The Book Thief by Marcus Zusak) and Jason really surprised me when I unwrapped his gift to me and saw this!
Yep, my first blue box from Tiffany! Inside were a pair of beautiful earrings that I've been wanting for awhile. It was definitely a wonderful birthday. :)
We had a low key week here at Huckleberry Love. Jamie shared her annual family Christmas tradition of going fishing with her loved ones. We also had TaMara from Implausibly Beautiful stop by with a drool worthy Bruschetta Chicken Sandwich recipe! Be sure to check out both posts when you get a moment.
