Much Ado About Monday {No. 36}

Did you know there's only 39 days until Christmas!?

Ya'll, that's crazy! Thankfully, our little family got a bit of a head start on the holiday this weekend. We headed a few hours north to the Texas State Railroad and took a ride on a special train- The Polar Express! Our boys were mesmerized with the whole experience- riding on a steam engine, the twinkling lights as we entered the North Pole, seeing Mr. Claus in all his Ho Ho Ho glory and receiving the first gift of Christmas! :)

After our train ride, I can say that we are all extremely excited to kick this season into full gear!

We spent the rest of the weekend up in Dallas visiting friends of ours. The kids all had a great time and were so excited to see each other! They had a wonderful time playing at the park, being goofy and visiting the zoo.  Our little guys were whipped by the time we left Sunday afternoon.

Speaking of excitement, were you one of the five lucky bloggers who we featured this past Friday? If so, get excited and grab yourself a button to display on your page! If not, no worries, just be sure to check out these awesome and creative posts. :)

    1. My boys love the movie, too! The train ride is definitely a magical experience. I know they offer two different rides in Texas- hopefully there isn't one too far from you! :)

  5. The Polar Express idea looks like it would be so much fun! My little guy loves trains, and unfortunately we live in a railroad town where no passenger trains come through. He would adore that!
